  1. An especially horrific fate for a character conceived as Marvel’s response to the women’s movement and growing cries for more female heroes. I suppose it goes with the territory in an industry where so many hands work with each character over such a long period. The characters become something different, as you mentioned earlier about Moore’s Joker.

  2. And then the Avengers added Starfox to the team… And he basically has the power of date rape.

  3. Dan Slott had a surprisingly great run on She-Hulk. One bit of it involves Starfox being tried for sexual assault.
