And now for something completely different.
While I was in Taos, my husband was at home. Alone. Building submarines. I am the photographer.
This is the kind of thing I live with, every day. Now you can understand the whole Lost in Space robot thing a little better. I’m personally waiting for the Taj Mahal out of cardboard. It’s beautiful by moonlight.
Anyway, enjoy a little piece of Bryon’s childhood and a big piece of his summer.

That’s so chaming, Cath. I live with three not-so-small helicopters, myself.
Finally! I hate to say it, but my experience with the SF community so far has mainly involved things like snacks and chatting. Now this is more what I was hoping for.
You (or rather, Bryon) have raised a desire in my son’s heart. I feel we may be doing cardboard model work here soon…
(I live with a gamer. It’s all chits and hexagons here…)
I hope your son has as much fun as Bryon does.
Catherine
Oh, I’m sure he will (although I will probably wait before building something that elaborate — Rob is in the “I built it and now I shall DESTROY IT” phase of life). I’m particularly enamored of the torpedo launchers, myself. ::grin::
