The most perfect book I’ve read this year.
Not the best in terms of plot, but absolutely in characterization. Amanda Feral blew me away. Not that I want to imply anything.
The characters are shallow and unsympathetic. The plot, pretty standard stuff. But oh! the irreverence! The ability to make fun of itself.
Dare I say it? Satire. Well done, hilarious satire.
Bring on the second one.
